    OVERVIEW

    We travel to Spain and Morocco to enjoy the cultural and religious diversity of this exotic land. We explore the influence of the Moors, Celts, Africans and Arabs as well as the French in Morocco. A rich Christian heritage abounds in Spain. We also consider how modern day Christians fare in these places. Travelling with like-minded people on a culturally rich holiday experience.

    Andrea Blake has lived and worked in Morocco for 8 years and has a passion for the country and its people. She is currently working at a Christian Secondary College as a school counsellor & led a highly successful Spain & Morocco tour for Selah in 2024. She speaks enough Moroccan Arabic to ensure you will get a good cup of coffee!

    Tour reviews Expand

    Ballooning in Morocco was one of my many highlights on this tour.

    Being able to use the devotion booklet with readings and reflections, being able to take time to pause and pray in some of the churches;
    THE highlight: joining an English speaking service in Morocco and hearing afterwards from two of those "working" in that land.

    Loved the cooking class and the walks through the old towns.

    Loved getting to know each other and sharing of life’s journeys of each member of the group including the loss of spouses/children , medical diagnoses etc. This seems to be common with everyone of our tours with Selah and perhaps indicative of the stage of life participants are in presently . Praying for everyone regularly is a special time in these tours.

    It was good to have the devotional booklet Andrea had prepared so that it could be used in personal moments of quietness. It was also good to be able to meet Lauren (missionary) in Madrid, and worship with the local church.

    Fantastic , lovely local guide , interesting to talk to and get to know and enthusiastic about his job.

    Andrea was superb. Cannot speak more highly of her; personality, knowledge, Christian outlook and care, leadership, etc.

    Hard to balance the pace: at times the days seemed long, but if it was any slower we would not have seen so much. On balance, I think it was about right. And made for a great tour
