Today we will meet with the OM Team at the Bible Correspondence Course (BCC)and hear about the incredible work and ministry they are doing in Turkey.
The BCC is the oldest Protestant ministry in Turkey, to be formed since the establishment of the Republic. The BCC was founded by the first OMers (Dale Rhoton & Roger Malstead) who came to Turkey in the early 1960s. Although OM has always been the main partner, many other mission agencies and churches throughout Turkey have participated over the decades in its ministries. The BCC is an autonomous partner ministry with OM and is responsible for its own governance, fundraising and reporting, with the help and support of OM, seeks to bring the gospel to Turks, and to use broad sowing to help churches and church planters find seekers near them.
They primarily using the internet, literature distribution, and by sending New Testaments or other gospel literature without charge to all upon request.
Each day thousands are interacting with our various websites, online chat and our Facebook follow-up team. Interested contacts enter a follow-up system where local churches and church planting teams around the country follow-up on them.
The BCC gives out about 500 New Testaments per week to first time people who request them.
